NHD Hires Executive Director

Beachwood, OH, United States, July 15, 2010 – Kevin Roth, Chairman of the Board for National Healthcare Distribution (www.NHD.net), announced that Karen E. Emerson will join the company July 19, 2010 as its Executive Director.  Emerson will initially be responsible for expanding product offerings and markets that represent prospective growth opportunities for the company.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have engaged Karen as Executive Director,” said Kevin Roth.  “Karen’s experience in marketing and contract negotiation, as well as her applied knowledge of medical imaging technologies, makes her an ideal candidate to fill this role.”

Karen was previously with Carestream Health as its National Channel Manager for medical analog and digital imaging products.  Prior to her work at Carestream Health she served as a digital x-ray and PACS specialist for Fuji Medical Systems.  Emerson is originally from Rochester, New York.

“NHD is focused on continued growth and finding new products and technologies that will provide value to our customers,” said Roth.  “Karen will be integral in helping NHD achieve that goal.”
