Karen has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. She was previously with Carestream Health as their National Channel Manager and worked with GE, Siemens, Toshiba & Shimadzu. Prior to that she worked for Fuji Medical as an Account Manager and their Digital X-Ray and PACS Specialist. Karen will be focused on expanding product offerings and researching new opportunities for NHD.
Karen’s experience in marketing and contract negotiation, as well as her applied knowledge of medical imaging technologies will be instrumental in helping to grow NHD.
Brett Schaeffer
Chief Operations Officer
Brett brings over 12 years of financial experience as well as more than 5 years experience as an operations manager. Most recently Brett worked with a private equity firm that focused in the education sector. His work included merger and acquisition of companies, strategy consulting, reviewing investments as well as development and oversight of financials for multiple companies.
As Chief Operations Officer, Brett will be negotiating vendor contracts, reviewing GPO agreements and will handle all accounting functions at NHD Corporate.

Bill’s vast experience in healthcare includes positions in technical sales, management and Director of National Accounts representing leading manufacturers within the medical imaging industry.
Bill’s role as V.P. of Corporate Account for NHD includes the negotiation and implementation of national agreements with Group Purchasing Organizations, IDN’s, and various independent healthcare providers. In addition, his responsibilities include developing agreements with leading suppliers and services providers that allow NHD to offer a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to better serve medical providers. As the medical imaging and IT sectors of the healthcare industry continue to transform, Bill’s focus is on maintaining NHD a viable and competitive organization that offers the greatest value and cost-effectiveness to our customers.
